I have been in the medical field for 20 yrs and can work as a medical assistant but am not certified but am ASPT certified as Phlebotomy Tech. Need a better paying job, got one?
i WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL FOR MY RN BUT IS VERY SCARED AND THINK IM GOING TO FAIL. WHEN GOING TO SCHOOL FOR LVN, EVERYTHING SEEMED SO SIMPLE, BUT HAD TO DROP OUT, ANY WORDS OF ENCOURAGMENT
I think Clinical Research is coming up big time..
Its so very exciting in terms of money and also the work profile.
I would really like to know where does it feature on your list...Where does it rank?
That mabe the 10 most popular / in demand jobs but I have a good Job. As an Electronic Technician / Biomedical Technician and a support service all those demand Jobs are glad to see you when they have a problem. Also when I go into a Patient's room they become MY Patient and the bed that dosen't work or the NURSE cal that seams not to work, becomes my Ministry. I hope to think that we are all in DEMAND.
Im really unsure about what I want to do, I have so many options. I just need the extra boost to just go and stop talking about it , yet I dont know what to do to start. I dont want this to be an excuse but I have two young daughters and have a hard time to find time to do something Ive wanted to do for a long time, werll talks cheap so is there any suggestions wher eI should start
If someone wants to get a higher position in the medical field, I suggest they look up the grants and scholarships available at the school they plan to attend. I worked my way through school and wasn't eligible for any grants or scholarships except the fundamental beginning at entry level, which are given to everyone. I didn't know how the system worked, but even if I did I wouldn't have been able to get anything. I'm a white, male, orphan. If I were smarter, I would've gone on welfare, like one of the women in my graduate program. I worked every weekend and every summer. Guess what? Interest was ten percent and eight percent. I owe over $100k, and there's no escape to bankrupcy. There were plenty of scholarships for other categorties, including "women going back to the workplace." If you fall into that category, do yourself a favor and go to the financial aid office. "It's a woman's world."
yeah right medical assistant is number 3 top job, I have an associate degree in the applied science of medical asssisting and cant find a job doing that and even if i did it wouldnt pay enough to pay off the money it costs to go to school. I work as a phlebotomist and it pays better than medical assisting.
